Artist's Description

U Qwak Me Up is a Crested Duck. They probably originate from the East Indies brought to Holland from Dutch ships in the 1600s according to Wikipedia. Like my friend the duck in Wikipedia was also photographed in Camden Maine where they have lived since the mid 1800s. Although I have not seen any in Steamboat yet I have seen them living on Lake Murray in La Mesa California. Maybe I should introduce them to the Valley if they arent here yet.

About Daniel Hebard

Daniel Hebard

I am semi retired at this time .My Dad gave me my first camera, a brownie, at the age of 7 in 1953 after applying my talents with crayons on the walls of my hallway and creating fantastic sculptures in a sand box starting at the age of 3 as I recall. I loved life as an artist, but teachers disagreed to my chagrin. So I ended up spending much of my life as an engineer in different trades and practices. Today I apply most of my efforts towards photography and photoshop making pictures, and placing them in a variety of galleries in my web sites offering prints and home product for all to enjoy viewing at no cost.
