Description
I had a Hoot and a Half making this picture of two wild stallions challenging on another in the wide open. I hid them to place them in the bushes so it is hard to see the support structure of these neat statues, so they would look like live stallions. The sculptor would appreciate the realism. Different statues of animals and people are spread around designated parks along the Borrego Springs Road north and south of town celebrating the history and character of Borrego Springs.
Desert Flora in the spring is always extraordinarily beautiful. The great precipitation of the past winter has produced Super Blooms throughout the Western United States, and we have been blessed. This year I have been lead to photograph the Desert of California’s Anza-Borrego State Park where my Land Yacht, ‘The Jed Sled (Jadeen)’, and accompanying Tender, ‘Flippy’ (my Jeep Wrangler) have been moored at the Leaping Lizard RV Park and Ranch.
