Turkey Vultures summon up mental images of death and doom, because they are principally feed on carrion. They eat rotting dead flesh be it animal or human. Gruesome indeed, but in doing what they do they perform a vital service in the cycle of life. They help clean up decaying rotting flesh and road kill which can spread disease. So if you want that job have at it. They are markedly resistant to most diseases and quietly perform a nice service. All I can say is �Thanks,� Mr. and Mrs. Buzzard.
I am semi retired at this time .My Dad gave me my first camera, a brownie, at the age of 7 in 1953 after applying my talents with crayons on the walls of my hallway and creating fantastic sculptures in a sand box starting at the age of 3 as I recall.
