Description
The National Park at Canyon Lands is a small protected area of the greater Canyon Land area which is vast. It is a long ride to reach the protected park area which appears to entirely fenced and heavily guarded by National Park Guards from Washington DC. Being protective of the Park they inform all every time they stop you at a road side turnout. The sites are worth glancing at least once. To Camp it is best to reserve a camp site at least a year ahead of your planned trim. Limited Camping areas are on a first come, first serve bases. Unfortunately they are hard to obtain at any time, and I suspect even harder to enjoy given the badgering nature of the ever present guards. There is a small private campground with a little store just north of the Park boundary with modest accommodations.
