Description
The beautiful fog at sunrise on the Elk River in August is a clear sign that the growing season is over and the first frosts will come soon. We dubbed it the Killer Fog 40+ years ago because we knew it was time to harvest our crop of veggies and prepare them for the frig and winter storage. Most of the Hay is off the meadow and stacked for the cattle and live stock for the coming deep snows which are coming. It is a busy time of the year for us. As is said we Make Hay while the Sun Shines.

These large vistas are wonderful, Daniel. I remember the "old" days when one got film developed ($$$) and making panoramas by taping three or more photos together. Nature needs to have the full spread for impact and you have gorgeous work in this gallery. I envy you being in all of these places of extreme beauty. Thanks for bringing it back for us! F/L+++
